Stepping Stones Partners with La Salle High School for Fall Food Drive
Date posted: September 16, 2019
This fall, participants of Stepping Stones’ Adult Day Services program are partnering with students of La Salle High School to host a fall food drive!
The fall food drive is a beloved tradition our participants have been enjoying since 2015. Every year, they enthusiastically reach out to their surrounding neighborhoods and Kroger stores to recruit donations that help those in need. This year we are glad to partner with La Salle High School and look forward to broadening our reach and being able to collect even more donations to help stop hunger in our Greater Cincinnati community.
Support the Fall Food DriveJoin Stepping Stones and La Salle High School in helping those in need by making a donation to the food drive. Items can come from your personal pantry at home or new from the grocery store. We also welcome you to invite your friends, family and coworkers to join you in supporting the food drive. The more, the merrier!
Through Friday, November 1, Stepping Stones will be accepting nonperishable food donations at our UCP Campus in Norwood and BeauVita Campus in Monfort Heights. We are also happy to arrange a pickup if needed.
After all of the donations have been collected, a group of participants from our Adult Day program will personally deliver them to La Salle High School’s “Truck of Love”. The food truck supports the efforts of Little Sisters of the Poor and benefits a number of agencies throughout Greater Cincinnati, including the St. Francis Seraph Soup Kitchen, Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen and more.
