Adult Social Events ‘Around Town’In Stepping Stones’ Around Town program, adults with disabilities engage in social events while on the move!
Exploring Greater Cincinnati, groups of adults travel to popular attractions such as FC Cincinnati and Reds’ games, the Renaissance Fair, Cincinnati Zoo’s Festival of Lights, performances at the Aronoff Center and more.
Stepping Stones hosts ‘Around Town’ social events September through April, with two scheduled outings a month. Participants engage in a variety of social activities, such as dances, movie theater outings, game nights and more.
In the program, participants practice and develop social skills, learn to successfully navigate large community spaces, practice money management and make personal choices.
Pick-up and drop-off times and locations vary by event. All participants must be able to safely travel and interact in a small group, community-based context.
