Celebrate Giving Tuesday by Helping a Person with Disabilities
Date posted: December 1, 2014
We’ve just had a day to give thanks and several days to shop, now you can celebrate Giving Tuesday by helping a person with disabilities find a pathway to independence.
In the past year, Stepping Stones’ Adult Day Program doubled in size, from 62 adults to 120. Saturday Clubs grew by 30%, serving more than 130. Summer Day Camp had a record 465 children with disabilities this year. Our Step-Up autism program educates students from 14 school districts and we are launching a new program to help students with autism transition to adulthood.
These programs are possible because of a wide family of supporters who do what they can to make a difference. That includes volunteers who gave more than 30,000 service hours this year, charitable foundations and individual donors.
You can help Stepping Stones by giving your time
or
by giving a donation that fits your ability to give.
