Stepping Stones is a nonprofit, community impact organization dedicated to building pathways to independence for individuals with disabilities. Our year-round programs empower participants age 5 to 65+ to develop new skills and more fully participate in their communities.
To ensure quality, safe programs — our staff team includes highly trained and experienced professionals in a variety of full-time and seasonal positions.
Year-round employment opportunities range from certified Intervention Specialists, Direct Support Professionals, Educational Aides and other administrative roles. We also have a variety of seasonal positions available in the summer months as well as weekend recreation programs throughout the school-year.

A Responsible and Trained Staff
Members of Stepping Stones’ staff team receive an average of 80 training hours throughout the year and are all certified in CPR & First Aid.
All staff members are required to successfully complete state and federal criminal background checks prior to employment and are re-fingerprinted every three years. Screenings include Abuser Registry, Convictions, Medicaid Fraud, Nurse Abuse Registry, Sex Offender Registry and SAM Registry.
