Third-Party Fundraising for Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones is a nonprofit organization and relies on the support of donations to continue providing innovative programs for people with disabilities. One great way to support Stepping Stones in its mission is to host a third-party fundraising event. A third-party fundraising event is when a business, organization, community group, school or other individual hosts an event or program that benefits Stepping Stones’ programs for people with disabilities.
Here are a few ideas for third-party fundraisers, but the sky is the limit. Get creative and make an impact!
- Collect Donations: Use collection canisters to collect donations for Stepping Stones at cash registers, entry ways, etc.
- Host a Fundraiser: Host a bake sale or car wash, donate a share of your business’s sales, plan a benefit.
- Choose Stepping Stones as the Beneficiary of Your Event: If your business or organization hosts an event that generates funds, consider donating a portion to Stepping Stones.
