Overnight Weekend Respite
Stepping Stones offers Overnight Weekend Respite care for teens and adults with disabilities at our scenic Allyn Campus in Batavia!
The Overnight Weekend Respite program invites ages 16 through 65+ for two-day retreats in a scenic location where they connect with their peers, enjoy new experiences and build independence.The respite care program runs from September through April, with an average of two sessions per month throughout the school-year.
Our scenic Allyn Campus is the perfect setting for an enriching weekend getaway. The 47-acre property includes accessible hiking trails, multiple lakes for fishing, in and sheltered outdoor program spaces, comfortable lodging, a commercial kitchen and more.
WHEN ARE RESPITES AVAILABLE?
The Overnight Weekend Respite program operates throughout the fall, winter and spring months. The 2023-2024 program season offers seven weekend sessions throughout the span of the school-year — averaging twice a month.
The respite program goes on hiatus in the summer months when Overnight Staycations operate at our Allyn Campus. Staycations have an extended length, with participants moving into camp on Sundays and staying through checkout Thursday afternoons.
WHAT DOES THE ACTIVITY SCHEDULE LOOK LIKE?
Participants arrive on Friday evenings around 6 pm and settle into their assigned cabins for the weekend. The days are fun with fun seasonal activities such as art projects, games and exploring the great outdoors. In the evenings, everyone comes together for dance parties, karaoke, holiday celebrations and other program events.

COST: $486 per session
PROGRAM TIMES: Friday at 6:00 pm – Sunday at 1:00 pm

- Age-appropriate activities include creative arts, nature, sensory science and more. All activities are adaptable to suit all levels of ability.
