What We Offer
Stepping Stones is a nonprofit, community impact organization serving people with disabilities at four Greater Cincinnati locations. We offer a variety of life-strengthening programs throughout the year that support children, teens and adults in building pathways to independence in an inclusive atmosphere.
A HISTORY OF INNOVATION
Stepping Stones is known for innovation and creatively meeting unmet needs of the community. In 1963, we pioneered camping programs for children and adults who had few or no alternatives by founding the region’s first summer program for individuals with disabilities. Today, the program continues and serves individuals from more than 20 Ohio counties.
Our Step-Up program was also Southwest Ohio’s first alternative education program of its kind for students on the autism spectrum who have exhausted options in traditional school settings. Currently the program serves students from more than 13 schools districts.
