Stepping Stones’ Summer Camp for individuals with disabilities was founded in 1963 as the first of its kind in Southwest Ohio. In 2020, our tradition of creating a memorable summer experience that helps participants build independence will continue!

Summer Adventures at Stepping Stones

Children, teens and adults are invited to find summer adventures at Stepping Stones in an inclusive and encouraging environment! With two scenic locations, Stepping Stones is the perfect summer destination. 

Our summer programs offer popular outdoor activities for participants to get outdoors and get active! Program activities include favorites like art, boating, fishing, swimming and music. Participants also come together for program-wide events such as talent shows, cookouts, sports & game challenges, dances, special program visitors and more. 

Registration Deadline: May 1, 2020

To best prepare for the summer, all Summer Day Camp and Overnight Staycation registrations must be received by the registration deadline of May 1, 2020. Remember, space is limited and we encourage you to apply as early as possible.

Overnight Adventures


Overnight Staycations (Ages 16 and Above)

Location: Camp Allyn – 1414 Lake Allyn Road, Batavia, OH 45103)
Program Dates: Nine 6-day sessions running from early June 7 through August 7. Participants check in on Sundays and check out on Fridays.
Serving: Ages 16 and above
Cost: $850 per session

Registration Deadline:
May 1, 2020

Program Includes:
  • Highly Trained Staff
  • On-Site Licensed or Med-Certified Nurses
  • 5 Accessible Sleeping Lodges
  • Small Group Ratios (No 1:1s available)
  • Accessible Hiking Trails
  • Archery Range
  • Two Lakes for Fishing & Boating Activities
  • Commercial Kitchen Professionally Staffed & Equipped to Accommodate Special Diets

DAY CAMP ADVENTURES


Kids Day Camp (Ages 5 – 12)

Location: Given Campus – 5650 Given Road, Cincinnati, OH 45243
Program Dates: Weekdays from June 8 – August 7
Pick-Up and Drop-Off Times: 9:15 am to 3:20 pm for car riders
Serving: Ages 5 – 12
Cost: $53 per day     (Limited 1:1s available at an additional fee based upon assessment)

Registration Deadline:
May 1, 2020

Three Attendance Pattern Options (Must be consistent through the camp season)
  • Monday, Wednesday and Friday
  • Tuesday and Thursday
  • Monday through Friday
Transportation:
Busing to day camp is available from several area locations at an additional fee. If applying for busing, please indicate so on the camper application as well as the county and zip code your camper will be traveling from. Busing assignments are made based on availability. If a harness is required, it must be clearly stated on the participant’s ISP.
