KY Speedway Children’s Charities Support Saturday Kids Club

Stepping Stones received a $3,500 donation for it’s Saturday Kids Club recently from the Kentucky Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities. Accepting the award for Stepping Stones were Peggy Kreimer, Communications and Grants, and Meghan Kessen, Manager of Recreation and Leisure Programs.

Ky Speedway 2 KySpeedway1“We are honored to be one of the first recipients of this grant,” said Kessen. “Our Saturday Clubs for Kids and Young Adults are growing. With this donation, we can serve even more people with disabilities next year.”

The Kentucky Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities celebrated its inaugural grant recipients on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. For the first time in the chapter’s history, it was able to provide grant funding to these organizations, so they can continue their hard work in making a difference in the lives of children in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. | The mission of Speedway Children’s Charities remains true to the ideals it was founded upon in 1982: To care for children in educational, financial, social and medical need in order to help them lead productive lives.
