VonLehman Beautifies Stepping Stones as a New Volunteer Initiative

When it came time to celebrate their 70th anniversary, VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm looked to support their Greater Cincinnati community and Stepping Stones. Launching a new “VL Cares” community outreach initiative, professionals volunteered on August 19th at six Cincinnati nonprofits – including Stepping Stones.

For the inaugural “VL Cares Make a Difference Day”, a team of VonLehman professionals volunteered at Stepping Stones’ Allyn Campus to beautify the grounds after a busy summer season. With raised paint brushes and tools, they got to work completing maintenance projects that included painting the pool house and constructing new picnic benches for our recreation programs. VonLehman looks forward to continuing this annual day of volunteering every year. 

“Our communities support us both as a firm and as individuals,” said Debbie Thornberry, chair of VonLehman’s VL Cares Committee. “This is our way of expressing our acknowledgement, our care and our appreciation of that support by making a difference on August 19th and the days and years to follow.”

VonLehman is also a supporter of Stepping Stones’ signature fundraiser, Bloom. The 12th annual event will be held on October 1st at Greenacres Arts Center in Indian Hill and will feature live-music by Clueless, food by Cincinnati’s best restaurants and more.  Find more event and ticket information, here.
