Stepping Stones Named Top 50 Nonprofit in Greater Cincinnati

This spring, Stepping Stones was named a Top 50 nonprofit organization in Greater Cincinnati by VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm and was featured in LEAD Cincinnati magazine.

Since 1946, VonLehman has served the Tri-State community. Their ‘VL Cares’ committee conducted an audit of more than 300 local nonprofits to identify leading organizations. During a thorough review process, the committee assessed nonprofit services, mergers, policies and procedures, talent recruitment and a number of other factors. Stepping Stones is honored to be included in the Top 50 nonprofit list.

“These organizations are examples of how the strength in our region comes directly from individuals working together to drive their mission forward,” said Stephanie Allgeyer, Chair of VonLehman’s Nonprofit Group. “These individuals work consistently to bring ideas to life, to make plans materialize and, most importantly, to make a difference in people’s lives.”

On April 5th, Stepping Stones’ leadership team attended a reception celebrating the launch of LEAD’s April issue that features the Top 50 Nonprofit Organization list.
