Pizza Hut presents Stepping Stones with $25,000 to support programs for children and adults with disabilities I Stepping Stones OhioOn Friday, June 30, CFL Pizza presented Stepping Stones with $25,000 to support programs for children and adults with disabilities!

The large donation from Greater Cincinnati’s Pizza Hut franchisee was the result of a successful nine-week fundraising campaign, with all 31 Tri-state Pizza Hut stores promoting Stepping Stones and inviting customers to make a $1, $3, $5 or $10 donation.

In addition to collection donations, Pizza Hut stores also opened their doors to participants of the Adult Day program. The adults enjoyed private tours of the Milford, Colerain and Amelia pizza kitchens, learning how to process orders and make personal pizzas. This summer, Pizza Hut staff will also donate their valuable time with four scheduled volunteer dates in our summer day camp.

To celebrate the successful partnership, CFL Pizza hosted a luncheon at Maggiano’s in Kenwood where the four leading fund-raising stores were recognized for their efforts and presented with beautiful terrariums, made by participants of our Adult Day program in Norwood. Stepping Stones’ Executive Director Chris Adams thanked all of the Pizza Hut staff and celebrated the “three C’s” of their organization: culture, compassion and community.

Thank you to everyone at CFL Pizza for championing Stepping Stones and proving that the pathway to independence truly does start one slice at a time.
