Mariemont Art Exhibit to Support Stepping Stones

Makers Mark Art Exhibit to Benefit Stepping StonesIn August, acclaimed local artists Eileen McConkey, Gina Stevenson, Jan Wiesner and Mark Wiesner are coming together to support Stepping Stones with a two-week art show in Mariemont.

Hosted by the Mariemont Woman’s Art Club and Cultural Center, the Makers’ Mark Painting & Sculpture exhibit will be on display at The Barn through September 2. On August 17, the four artists celebrated the art show with an opening reception that included wine, hors d’oeuvres, sweets and one-on-one discussions with the artists about their beautiful work.

In total, The Makers’ Mark exhibit includes 34 striking pieces and took more than a year to complete. The four artists are studio neighbors at the Pendleton Art Center and came together to share how they each put their signature ‘mark’ on a piece – while supporting their local community.

Stepping Stones is honored to be named the exclusive charity beneficiary of the exhibition. A share of all art sales will be donated to support year-round programs for children, teens and adults with disabilities.

We hope you can stop by The Barn before September 2 to take in this beautiful collection of art!

Sponsors of the exhibition include John Hueber Homes, Hyde Park Lumber & Design Center and Black Cat Hair Salon.
