Saluting Our Summer Volunteer Champions

Date posted: October 2, 2019

Summer Volunteer Champions at Stepping Stones I Cincinnati, Ohio Despite a very rainy start, volunteer engagement was at a record high in Stepping Stones’ 2019 Summer Camp season!

More than 2,600 group and individual volunteers accumulated 16,345 hours of service in both our Day Camp and Overnight Staycation programs. We are blown away by their generosity and thank everyone for sharing their time and talents with Stepping Stones this summer.

Saluting Our New Summer Volunteer Champions

We are also thrilled to share that our newly launched Volunteer Champions program yielded 57 student champions from 37 participating schools! We commend the 17 students who achieved the Gold level with more than 100 hours of community service each at camp.

Stepping Stones also gives a special kudos to Max Jarrell! Max is a senior at Mason High School and clocked an impressive 260 hours of volunteering in Summer Day Camp to be our Platinum Champion. Thank you, Max, for making such a strong impact in our community.
