LaSalle High School Community Service Day at Stepping Stones I Cincinnati, Ohio

On Sept. 18, four LaSalle High School freshmen and their fathers were called to serve their community with a visit to Stepping Stones’ Drex Campus in Norwood. The volunteer team lent helping hands to our maintenance crew with an outdoor car wash, the first volunteer project to be completed at one of our campuses since March.

Grabbing buckets and soap, the father-son team of volunteers cleaned a fleet of accessible vans inside and out. These vehicles are used by our Adult Day Services program, where participants enjoy community outings and explore Greater Cincinnati’s beautiful parks.

The volunteer car wash was organized as part of LaSalle High School’s Freshmen Day of Renewal, with small groups completing service projects at multiple organizations around the Tri-state. We were glad to participate in the community-wide event and greatly appreciate the help of our dedicated volunteers!

About Adult Day Services
Stepping Stones’ Adult Day Services runs weekdays throughout the year and serves individuals age 18 to 75+ with disabilities. Available at three locations, the program offers a highly encouraging and inclusive atmosphere where participants build confidence and develop independent living skills.
