Stepping Stones Fall 2021 Volunteer Opportunities at Two Locations

Exciting news! Stepping Stones is beyond thrilled to announce we are once again welcoming volunteers in our Saturday Club and Weekend Respite programs!

Volunteers have been an integral part of our program community since our start back in 1963. Since putting the volunteer program on hold in March 2020, we have so missed the friendly faces, helping hands and joy they bring to our participants. 

We are pleased to welcome back volunteers, offering Fall 2021 volunteer opportunities at both our Given Campus in Indian Hill and Allyn Campus in Batavia! Those who are fully vaccinated and meet the service requirements can complete an online application and sign-up for shifts in Saturday Kids Club, Saturday Young Adults Club and Weekend Respites.

Stepping Stones’ weekend programs serve children, teens and adults with disabilities. During their time with us, volunteers engage participants in seasonal recreation activities while supporting a positive and inclusive environment. These opportunities are an excellent way to earn service hours while developing important life skills like adaptability! 

To protect our program community, program volunteers must be able to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination and wear a mask indoors. They must also have the ability to display appropriate behavior at all times and respect everyone’s boundaries and level of ability.

Fall 2021 Volunteer Opportunities

Saturday Kids Club

ADDRESS: 5650 Given Road, Cincinnati, OH 45243
TIME: 9:15 am – 2:15 pm
AGES: Must be age 13 or above
DATES: Every weekend through Fall 2021

Saturday Young Adults Club

ADDRESS: 5650 Given Road, Cincinnati, OH 45243
TIME: 3:15 – 8:15 pm
AGES: Must be age 16 or above
WHEN: Every weekend through Fall 2021

Weekend Respites

ADDRESS: 1414 Lake Allyn Road, Batavia, OH 45103
AGES: Volunteers age 16 and above

SHIFTS:

• 9:45 am – 1 pm, Saturday
• 4 – 8 pm, Saturday
• 9:45 am – 12 pm, Sunday
