Xavier Community Action Day Comes to Stepping Stones I CincinnatiOn Oct. 23, Stepping Stones was delighted to participate in the Xavier University Community Action Day — an event with students, faculty and family completing service projects around Greater Cincinnati as well as alumni joining in across the country!

A team of seven volunteers joined us for a beautiful morning in Saturday Kids Club! This popular program operates at our Given Campus in Indian Hill, creating social and recreation opportunities for children and young teens with disabilities throughout the school-year.

The volunteers bonded with participants during neat sensory science activities like concocting elephant toothpaste as well as making mummy portraits and playing pumpkin games ahead of the Halloween holiday.

The Xavier Community Action Day was organized by students in celebration of Dr. Colleen Hanycz’s induction as the local university’s 35th president
