15th Annual Open Your Heart is a success!
On Tuesday, February 7th, Stepping Stones hosted the 15th Annual Open Your Heart, presented by Convalescent Hospital Fund for Children. The event netted more than $91,500 to benefit year-round programming for children, teens and adults with disabilities. The Valentine-inspired evening was chaired by Patti Zesch and held in a hybrid format which gave guests the option to join in person at Eddie Merlot’s or have their meals delivered.
The evening kicked off at Eddie Merlot’s with a cocktail hour where guests enjoyed hors d’oevres, entered to win the premier raffle items and purchased artwork created by Stepping Stones’ Adult Day Program participants. Following the cocktail hour, guests were seated to enjoy a delicious meal from Eddie Merlot’s. Event vice-chair, Leo Dalle Molle, led a short program to thank the sponsors, guests and volunteers before kicking of the fundraising donation drive. Guests were also joined by Brooke Bratz, parent of a Stepping Stones participant, as she shared what Stepping Stones means to her and her son.
