Introducing the Staycation Staff Members of the Session

Hey Everybody!

Now that summer is beginning to draw to a close I’d like to take a minute to introduce you all to some of the stellar staff we have! Each of the following individuals were chosen as Staff of the Session due to their exemplary performance and embodiment of Stepping Stone’s mission. 

Kori-

Kori comes to us from Florida and she will be attending Indian River State College in the hopes of becoming a Special Education Teacher. Her favorite food is chicken alfredo and a fun fact about her is that she normally lives on a sailboat! Kori was chosen as staff of the session for the copious amounts of behind the scenes support she gave her entire cabin-volunteering to help wherever it was needed. 

Oscar-
Oscar attends Kenyon College and is majoring in psychology and neuroscience. His favorite color is burgundy  and a fun fact about him is that he has his cat because he found him on the side of the road two years ago and took him home! Oscar was chosen as staff of the session for his flexibility and willingness to support his lodge in any way possible. 

Allie-
Allie attends Western Michigan University and is majoring in Special Education. Her favorite color is purple and her favorite food is pizza! Allie was chosen as staff of the week for really standing out in her role as a 1:1 staff for that week in anticipating her participant’s needs and volunteering to help others during her breaks. 

Tristan-
Tristan attends Dundee University in Scotland and is majoring in architecture. His favorite color is green and a fun fact about him is that he has been a gymnast since he was 6! Tristan was chosen as staff of the session for his outstanding performance in the role of a 1:1 staff and making sure that his participant’s experience was amazing.

Maria-
Maria attends John Carroll University and is majoring in psychology and occupational therapy. Her favorite food is apples with peanut butter and a fun fact about her is that her last name means pineapple in Spanish! Maria was chosen as staff of the session due to her amazing flexibility and willingness to fit into whatever role was most needed for the day.
