Get Involved
Get involved with Stepping Stones and see how rewarding it can be. We have volunteers who start out as teens to get community service credit at school and come back year after year. There are many ways to be part of the Stepping Stones community. You could help build pathways to independence for children, teens and adults with a wide range of disabilities at one of our three sites in Hamilton and Clermont counties, Ohio.
Interact with Participants
More than 1000 volunteers participate in our programs. There are opportunities for volunteers starting at 13 or going into 8th grade or older. Training is provided.
Landscaping/Grounds
Groups and individuals can help Stepping Stones maintain the beautiful outdoor environment at both our sites. Volunteers plant flowers, build walls, create garden areas, cut brush, paint day camp shelters and program areas, clean windows and generally lend a hand. This type of work usually can be scheduled at the volunteer’s convenience.
Office/Special Events
Extra hands are needed to compile marketing materials and program registration and information packets, assemble major mailings such as invitations to fund-raising events.
