Summer Appeal Enables Summer Fun

You can make a difference in the life of a person with disabilities. A contribution to our summer appeal will enable a child to build social skills while swimming, playing sports, doing crafts and engaging in activities that other kids take for granted. Your dollars also help teens and adults build independence and enjoy a sleep over camp–maybe for the first time in their lives.

Summer day and overnight camps for people with disabilities require more staff and staff with special training and skills. They require modified programs and accessible facilities plus nursing and dietary care. As a result, many people cannot afford to send their loved ones to camp.
