Ringing Out the Old Year

Date posted: December 30, 2013

December was a busy and festive month at Stepping Stones as participants spread holiday cheer all month long! Adult Services participants sang a carol or two at holiday karaoke and worked on holiday crafts like handmade ornaments and greeting cards.

Students of Cincinnati Christian Hills Academy stopped by to perform a beautiful holiday concert before an audience of Santa hat and jingle bell wearing Step-Up students, who merrily sang and danced along.

Our Step-Up Autism students also had fun building, and eating, traditional gingerbread houses that were decorated with plenty of icing and their favorite candies. Weekends were especially busy this month with the large holiday parties at Saturday Kids and Young Adult Clubs. Santa even stopped by to deliver some presents!

And of course, our holiday Respite was as fun as ever with a holiday dance where everyone danced together to the electric slide and our favorite holiday tunes.

It was a holiday season to remember with holiday cheer everywhere you turned. We happily look forward to 2014 and wish everyone a Happy New Year!
