On Tuesday, March 14, 75 of Stepping Stones’ strongest supporters attended a donor appreciation reception at the Cincinnati Country Club. The event was hosted by board Vice President Deb Caley and Sam Scoggins. Guests enjoyed drinks and bites over a brief program that celebrated agency highlights and shared information on our newly launched planned giving program.

Our Step Up Classrooms continue to be busy with activities! Over the winter months, we have continued our work on functional academics, independent living, and life and vocational skills. We loved expanding our horizons by learning about other countries and their cultures, too!

The 9th annual Open Your Heart, presented by SPA, Inc., was held Tuesday, February 7th and netted a record $100,000 to support Stepping Stones' programs for people with disabilities. 260 guests gathered for a Valentine-inspired evening at Eddie Merlot's, with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and an elegant three-course dinner. Thank you to all of our generous sponsors, guests and Eddie Merlot's for opening your hearts to Stepping Stones this Valentine season.

Participants of the Adult Day program create beautiful glass coasters that will be sold at our upcoming Open Your Heart event, benefiting Stepping Stones' programs. Hand-drawn designs are laid on colorful glass and loaded into a kiln. The finished result? Truly original works of art!
