Stepping Stones Celebrates Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving came one day early at Stepping Stones, as 150 staff, participants and board members gathered together for the annual Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday, November 25! 

Theresa Roehrig, a staff member of our Adult Day Services program, led the meal by reading a beautiful blessing. Then, with bountiful plates of roast turkey, ham, stuffing and mashed potatoes, we gave thanks for a year of many blessings. Each table was decorated with beautiful centerpieces, made by participants of the Adult Day program in the Art Studio. 

In between bites of turkey and pumpkin pie, everyone wrote what they’re most thankful for on leaves that are proudly displayed on our ‘Tree of Thanks’, printed and donated by Decal Impressions. The colorful tree celebrates our many blessings and will greet visitors in the UCP Campus foyer throughout the holiday season.
