Clark Montessori Students Raise $1.3K for Stepping Stones at Steel Band Concert

Students of Clark Montessori Make Great Music, for a Great Cause!
In March, junior high and high school students from Clark Montessori hosted a benefit concert to raise funds for Stepping Stones’ year-round programs for people with disabilities. The lively 90-minute concert featured six steel bands, performing adaptations of popular tunes like ‘Sweet Caroline’ and ‘Smells like Teen Spirit’. Concert attendees made donations to Stepping Stones in place of admission.
On April 26, Stepping Stones was invited to a student concert and received a check for more than $1,300 to benefit our programs for people with disabilities at four locations across Greater Cincinnati. Director of Development Kelly Crow was introduced to the student body by Jayden, a volunteer of Stepping Stones’ summer day camp who recommended Stepping Stones to the steel band program.
A huge thank you to the concert attendees for their generous donations and to all of the students of Clark Montessori’s steel band for showing their support for Stepping Stones through their beautiful music. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
