Stepping Stones & CABR at the 45th Annual Operation Sunshine

Operation Sunshine!

Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors delivers more than sunshine to Stepping Stones’ Camp Allyn.

On July 25th, the CABR hosted the annual Operation Sunshine picnic for participants of our Overnight Staycation. 52 teens and adults with disabilities enjoyed a fried chicken meal, deli sandwiches, savory sides and a beautiful ‘sunshine’ cake served by the realtors of the community.



In its 45th year, Stepping Stones and the Cincinnati Board of Realtors host Operation Sunshine for the annual fundraising drive to support Stepping Stones’ programs. To celebrate the long-running campaign, the picnic at Camp Allyn is a beloved tradition where the realtors and our participants are able to come together in the spirit of sunshine.  Last year’s fundraising campaign raised over $6,000 to help support the Overnight Staycation program for teens and adults with disabilities. The partnership with the Cincinnati Board of Realtors has helped children and adults with disabilities find their Sunshine!

After the last bite of cake was eaten at the July 25th picnic, participants enjoyed playing soccer, bowling, and dancing to music by DJ Ed. The participants danced the night away with full bellies and smiles on their faces!
