2022 Weekend Volunteer Opportunities at Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones is glad to offer 2022 weekend volunteer opportunities in Saturday Young Adults Club and Weekend Respites!
These enriching programs offer children, teens and adults with disabilities space to connect with their peers over seasonal activities. Individuals age 16 or above who meet service requirements are now invited to join us for a rewarding volunteer experience! Help our staff engage participants in art, music, nature and sensory projects while being part of an inclusive environment.
Stepping Stones’ Weekend Respites operate twice a month at our Allyn Campus in Batavia and Saturday Young Adults Club on alternate weekends at the Given Campus in Indian Hill. These 2022 weekend volunteer opportunities are an excellent way to earn service hours while learning important skills like adaptability and creativity.
To protect our entire program community, volunteers must be able to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination and wear a mask indoors. They also must have the ability to display appropriate behavior at all times and respect everyone’s boundaries and level of ability.
2022 WEEKEND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Saturday Young Adults Club
In this evening program, volunteers are matched to a group of teen or young adult participants where they help with art projects, dance parties, nature exploration and more.

Weekend Respites
Throughout the school-year, teens and adults with disabilities enjoy weekend retreats at our 47-acre Allyn Campus in Batavia. Volunteers help staff engage participants in seasonal and outdoor activities. There are three shifts available in this program.
