On April 21, Stepping Stones celebrated another fantastic year at this year’s annual meeting!

The luncheon featured delicious food by Funky’s Catering and was held at the Red Cross. This year’s keynote speaker was Paul Daugherty, who spoke to an audience of staff, board members, supporters and participants on the joys of raising a daughter with Down syndrome. Daugherty is a columnist for the Cincinnati Enquirer and recently published his memoir, An Uncomplicated Life

The annual Catherine Clark Borchers award was received by Paulette Waag, recognizing a commitment to Stepping Stones’ mission. Paulette has worked in the finance department at Stepping Stones for over 35 years and recently announced her upcoming retirement.

The Annual Volunteer Award went to The Ability Experience (previously known as PUSH America) for their hardwork completing many large projects around the agency, including installation of the Sensory Trail at the Allyn Campus.
