The Sporting Clays Tournament was held at Sycamore Pheasant Club in Loveland and netted more than $80,000 for programs serving people with disabilities.
In its third year, the event included a public tournament on Friday, May 10 as well as a private tournament for event sponsors on Saturday, May 11.
April 23rd's annual meeting recognized another year of building pathways to independence for people with disabilities!
The event was attended by more than 80 guests, including participants, board members, volunteers, industry leaders and dedicated staff members. It was a celebration of the last year's successes and also the introduction of our new Board President, Whitney Eckert.
On April 10, participants of Camp Allyn's Adult Day program enjoyed a private tour of the Eastgate Pizza Hut kitchen.
The community outing was part of Stepping Stones' ongoing partnership with Greater Cincinnati's Pizza Hut franchise CFL Pizza, LLC. Through June 17, 32 Tri-State stores will be raising support for our programs. To learn more, click here.
Students of Step-Up are benefiting from a new partnership with Visionaries + Voices! The local nonprofit is committed to creating a most inclusive arts community. Every Friday, V+V leads art classes for students with severe autism. By completing a series of projects, our students are able to channel their behaviors into a creative outfit.
Thank you to the Cincinnati Beard Barons for inviting Stepping Stones aboard their float in the Opening Day parade! The Beard Barons are a group of facial hair enthusiasts with charitable souls. We always have fun when partnering with them - especially when cheering the Cincinnati Reds onto victory together in their opening game!
In March, the new Mariemont Jersey Mike's hosted a Grand Opening fundraiser to support Stepping Stones. From March 13 through March 17, volunteers, staff, supporters and community guests enjoyed a meal at the beautiful new store and made donations to support programs for people with disabilities. The grand opening event was a great success, raising more than $4,000 to benefit our programs.
Stepping Stones thanks everyone who attended and supported the fundraiser. Another big thank you to the Ayers family for choosing us to celebrate their brand new store.
